In days-gone-by if you wanted to broadcast professional looking video interviews on the TV or Stream to the internet, you had to fork out big bucks for equipment and software. This ability was out of the reach of the average person. But now with BoinxTV, a computer, and a DV video recorder anyone can have their own TV studio and create professional looking videos.
BoinxTV among Streaming Media Editors' Pick 2010 winners

BoinxTV is one of the winners of the 2010 Editors' Picks of Streaming Media Magazine:
"As Sherm Schlar wrote in his review in the December/January issue, BoinxTV transforms a desktop Mac into a full-blown video production studio, for a fraction of the price of doing the same thing on a PC. The software can capture from multiple cameras and microphones via a variety of inputs (USB, FireWire, composite, HDMI, and SDI), and the output supports up to 50 layers and effects including text crawls and video filters. Add the built-in chromakey feature and custom backgrounds, and you’ve got everything you need to assemble a professional video production on an amateur budget—BoinxTV sells for as little as $159 for a “sponsored version” that features the BoinxTV logo in any output; the full version without the logo goes for $499."
Streaming Media Magazine: "BoinxTV - the video bargain of the year"

Sherman Schlar reviewed BoinxTV for Streaming Media magazine and compared it with existing Windows-based and hardware broadcast solutions:
"While video overlay programs exist for Windows PCs, most are fairly basic and can’t match the features found in BoinxTV. To accomplish the same thing in studio hardware, you’d need a live switcher, titler, and character generator, logo generator, and chromakey system. Did I mention the video overlay stopwatch and video graphics display engine? Ka-ching. BoinxTV installed on a Mac for less than $2,000 just might be the video bargain of the year."

For John Saddington, Senior Editor, Church Crunch, BoinxTV makes a great first impression:

The Kleper Report: "Simply amazing and amazingly empowering"

The Kleper Report on Digital Publishing (Issue May/June 2009) reviewed BoinxTV:
"BoinxTV, the 2009 Apple Design Award winner, simulates a TV studio, with control of up to three cameras, for the creation of a wide range of live-production videos. This degree of personal control and expression is as significant as the introduction of desktop publishing, which provided the power of the press to virtually anyone. Now Macintosh users can produce high quality video programs live to disc, the Internet, or as a presentation. One person can be the producer, director, and the talent. Simply amazing and amazingly empowering."
Creative Mac: BoinxTV

In his extensive review for Creative Mac, Kevin McAuliffe, found much to praise:
"If you do "live" broadcasts, BoinxTV is a program that you NEED to check out. What used to be a process that required alot of people, alot of time or both, can now be done by one person, which if you are running the show, that's a good thing, because you can put more money in your pocket on each and every job"

Starting at seemingly high price of $199, BoinxTV is equipped with many features and endless possibilities allowing the 'average Joe' to be the Internet's top news anchor."

Industry luminary Dennis Sellers posts an extensive review of BoinxTV at Macsimum News with a Macsimum rating of 10 out of 10:
I’ve long been a fan of Boinx products, but this may be their best title yet. It’s very Mac-like, easy to learn for the features it packs and is lots of fun. And that makes for an app I can recommend wholeheartedly.
